It's been months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission; now they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

It's not often that the 2nd book is more exciting than the first, but this one was. I read it in two sittings and am glad the 3rd one is out! No waiting! Love it.

Roar is the one I fell in love with. Perry's too hotheaded and all the mush between him & Aria is overwrought. jmho.

So, so, so good. Sequels are always a risk, but this book is just as good as the first one. Incredible world-buildling, the return of an old enemy, and a shocking death (no spoilers)... how long until the next one? And can I tell you how much I love Perry?

This action-packed sequel lives up to the originality, romance, and action of the first. Rossi does a fine job of building the plot with mesmerizing craft that makes this a page turner. The prose paints a vivid picture and Perry, Aria, and the countless other characters, settings, scenes, and sequences come alive.
